Steeple Ashton WI are holding a Candlelight Vigil at their village church (St Mary's) on Thursday 25 November 2021 from 7 to 8 pm.
Domestic violence is one of the many issues the WI has taken action to resolve. The vigil will be held in the church as part of the UN campaign Action Against Domestic Violence. It is hoped that many friends and villagers, both men and women, will join us to promote awareness of this dreadful problem and to stand by the too many victims, also men and women, whose lives are shattered by this.
