Covid Chronicle Patchwork of Tapestry submission by Kington Langley WI

Twelve members of Kington Langley WI worked together to create this panel which hopefully will become part of the Covid Chronicle - a patchwork of tapestry / stitch project conceived by Wendy Bliss and consisting of panels from all over the world. It is a record of life during the pandemic and how we collaborated in spite of the Lockdowns. The project enabled them to rediscover their creative skills and to relearn embroidery stitches they had not tried for years. A huge thank you must go to Patricia without whose encouragement and design skills would have meant that they would still be wondering how to start!

Hopefully the panel will be included in the project which will be something like a Bayeux Tapestry when it is complete and which is going to be shown at various venues around the country next year. These venues will include Chippenham Museum in April.
