At the Federation Annual Meeting at 10.30 on Saturday, October 16th, the Council, which consists of the Trustees and a Delegate from each WI in the Wiltshire Federation, will be asked to vote for the conversion of the Federation from an Unincorporated Charity to an Incorporated Charity (CIO).
This is a very important decision, as, not to proceed with this could, potentially, leave the Trustees vulnerable to personal financial responsibility for any court action (justified or not) taken against the Federation.
Please, if you have not already done so, consider sending a delegate from your WI; the delegate's ticket is free of charge!! To book your place please email fedsec@wiltshirewi.org.uk and you will be sent the joining code.
Other places may be booked at a cost of £5 per person. It promises to be a very interesting event, with two excellent-sounding speakers, all from the comfort of your own home, where you are free to get up and wander round, make yourself a coffee, hang out your washing – whatever takes your fancy!!...just be sure to turn off your camera.
