WFWI Event
Over 80 WI members and friends attended a brilliant talk and presentation by Mr Simon Seligman. Simon was former head of communications at Chatsworth House in Derbyshire. He shared with the audience his remarkable experiences working closely with the Duchess of Devonshire known to her family and close friends including royalty as "Debo".
He explained that the Duchess was a tremendous driving force behind many events at Chatsworth during her lifetime including the magnificent Christmas Decorations Show.
Everyone attending enjoyed a cup of coffee/tea and a delicious slice of homemade cake. All members commented upon leaving how much they had enjoyed the hour long talk and were eager for the Wiltshire Federation to plan a trip to Chatsworth in 2023.
